The Big Heart Internship program is an on-the-field program that provides participants with hands-on ministry training. It is for individuals who are passionate about cross-culturals missions. This program is designed to stretch & grow you spiritually and mentally closer to Jesus.

Who Can Intern?

Our internship is typically for 18-30 years old. We are looking for people who are willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a dynamic way. You need to be self-motivated and have a willingness to be as flexible as possible.

Whether you are looking to dive deeper into your relationship with God, want to get hands-on mission experience, or if you’re not ready to commit long-term but want to try missions for more than a short-term trip, this internship is for you!!

How Long is an Internship?

Our internships are anywhere from 1- 12 months. If you are looking to come any longer than that you can find information on Our Team tab and if you are wanting to serve for a shorter period of time you can click our Plan Trip tab and fill out a volunteer form.

  • As an intern you can serve in multiple areas. If you feel called to cooking, caring for children, working with groundskeeper, or volunteering at the school, we will try our best to place you in an area you feel called to, where you can use your God-given gifts.

  • No, all of our positions are volunteer positions.

  • Yes, the cost is $400 a month. This covers all your meals and lodging during your stay.

  • We are extremely precautious and always alert about the safety of our children, staff, and intern/volunteers. We take steps to provide a safe and inviting environment for everyone.
